Our hair salon has had its fair share of wedding party requests and we have left them all as happy as can be! This can also be a very time consuming process for a hair stylist to work with, it’s important for every bride and her bridesmaids to plan ahead to make sure everything will get done on time for the big day. We wanted to share a few ways that you could help create a much more positive experience for you and your favorite hairstylist.
Make Up- always plan on bringing a day-of bag full of all of your custom makeup kits and hair products to every visit to your stylist to be extra prepared. Sometimes your stylist won’t have enough or any at all of a certain product and that’s when most brides turn into the Hulk.
NO Tardiness– for every visit to your hair stylist make sure to have the whole heard arrive on time so the process doesn’t get drawn out for too long. This is especially important when you are also getting you hair colored or nails done, these can take several hours depending on you bridal party size.
Clean slate– Make sure to come to every appointment with a clean face to act as a fresh canvas for your stylist. This way you won’t have to spend time getting you and your gal pals faces washed, thus saving more time in the process.
Hair plan- Come into the salon guns blazing by first having a clue what you want your hair to look like. This way you will be able to save time by focusing on one style for the big day, while also saving some green
Facial hair removal- If you don’t want that pesky facial hair showing up in you wedding photos then you should plan ahead and consider monthly hair removal. This will yield better results for your face especially for avoiding unwanted redness that would require extra makeup time on the day of your wedding.
